What is the best way to reach the Costa Blanca?

Traveling by car is a rather costly and time-consuming option. Nevertheless, for longer stays, it can be cost-effective, especially if you intend to visit numerous places.

Considering a departure from central Poland, the distance to cover is approximately 3000 km. We suggest traveling for two days with an overnight stay, for example, near Lyon in France. Accommodation can easily be found online by typing “accommodation” or “hotel” and the name of the city where you wish to stay into a search engine. Of course, it is possible to cover the distance in 24-27 hours of continuous driving if there are two drivers.

In addition to fuel and hotel costs, you should factor in toll road fees, which will amount to approximately 120 Euros one way.

When refueling in France, it is important to know that most motorway service stations operate on a prepaid basis – you must purchase a fuel card before refueling, which may not be convenient for those just passing through. If you wish to avoid refueling at such a station, remember to always refuel when you encounter stations where payment is made after filling up the vehicle, as is customary in Poland. It is advisable to pre-load all major brand stations like Shell or BP into your navigation system to avoid problems on the route.

The advantages of driving include the opportunity to visit historical sites along the way and to carry more luggage. Please note that budget airlines have strict baggage size and weight limits, typically a maximum of 15 kg, and carry-on luggage must fit within precisely defined volumetric dimensions.

By Plane

The fastest and most affordable way to reach the destination is, of course, by plane. Ryanair operates flights to Alicante from Krakow, Wroclaw, Warsaw Modlin, Poznan, and Gdansk, while Wizzair flies from Warsaw Chopin.

Ticket prices, including all fees, can be below PLN 200 one way, depending on the chosen date. The cheapest fares are, of course, during the off-season, when round-trip tickets can be purchased for as little as PLN 300.

From the airport, you can reach us in three ways: by purchasing a transfer (car transport) for 50 euros per trip, by taxi (approx. 90 euros), or by renting a car from us – the cost is agreed upon individually, and if you rent a car from us, airport transfer is free of charge.
